GOOD FOR THE SOUL INFORMATION
Organic Milk & Honey Bath
# Formulated to gently clean baby’s sensitive skin and leave it silky soft. # Made with organic full-fat milk and goat's milk, this bath is extremely mild for baby’s delicate skin. It is formulated with a high percentage of of full-fat organic milk for its soothing properties and goat milk for its restorative proteins and minerals. This is great for newborn’s delicate skin! # About 100% Natural Milk Bath: Why milk for baby bath? "Milk is a super soother for chapping, windburn, sunburn, eczema, and other skin irritations," says New York dermatologist Amy Wechsler, MD. "It contains proteins (whey and casein), fat, amino acids, lactic acid, and vitamins A and D, all of which calm dry, upset skin." Milk is good for bathing because it contains alpha-hydroxy acids which break down the “glue” that holds dead skin cells together. Goat milk is included because it is easily absorbed by the skin, bringing with it moisture, restorative proteins and minerals.

ney Milk Bath
2 cups of milk
2 tbls honey
Pour both milk and honey into a warm bath before stepping into the water. Soak for at least 20 minutes. The honey will soften and the milk will exfoliate your skin. Enjoy.

Milk and Honey Cleanser

Half cup honey
Half cup yoghurt
3 teaspoons rosewater
Mix ingredients together and store in a container in the fridge. Apply a small amount to the face and neck and massage gently. Rinse with warm water and pat skin dry.

Egg & Honey Facial Mask

Mix together
1 tablespoon honey
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon almond oil
1 tablespoon natural yogurt
Take a hot face towel and place onto your face for one minute to open the pores before smoothing face mask onto skin. Leave for 20 - 30 minutes.

Honey stimulates and smoothes, egg and almond oil penetrate and moisturize, and yogurt refines and tightens pores.

I wish we had CS in the UK as I would love to get a lump of shea butter to mix and make stuff with. The postage from CS to the UK is madness so I have only ever bought some gel eyeliners. I do have some african black soap though a pump I keep in the shower and you know when you have used it as your skin is squeaky clean lol :0)
